A. Chances are the mineral rights are owned by the Government or the railroad entities. This right was granted to these companies for building a bi-coastal railway system in the 1800’s. Information about purchasing the rights can be obtained by calling Chattooga County.
Q. Is someone available to help me locate the property?

Q. What do you do with my closing costs?
A. The closing costs takes care of the paperwork: Deeds, contracts, etc. This fee is currently a nominal $10,000.00 per acre of land, plus $1000 earnest money deposit to build your new home. The total payment of $11,000.00 will be used to cover your purchase for the land, contractor and filing fee to prepare all of the legal documents required for the contract.
